There's one chair, one basin and one hair stylist at Ashgrove West's
Cube Hair.

Owner and hairstylist Lyndall Lightbody started the business in Feb 08 and provides one on one care for her clients.

After working in large salons, Lyndall saw the need for stylists to spend more time with each client.

"I spend as much time as I need to with each client. It could take one hour or three hours to do their hair. But there is no waiting around for stylists, clients can sit and relax and they can bring the kids in if they need to."

Homemade biscuits and coffee add to the sense of indulgence.
